Phuket Old Town
Lively Phuket Old Town is known for brightly painted, century-old Sino-Portuguese townhouses, with a well-preserved row along Soi Rommanee. Main street Thalang Road has stores selling artisanal ice cream and batik fabrics and a Sunday market for souvenirs and street food like fried bananas. The Thai Hua Museum features exhibits on Chinese immigrant culture, and Jui Tui Shrine displays colorful statues of Chinese gods.
Rang Hill
Rang Hill or Khao Rang. A famous viewpoint in the northwestern Phuket town. At the top of the hill, you’ll find a nicely landscaped park with children’s playground, restaurants and bars, a fitness park, and a panoramic terrace.
Central Phuket
An air condition shopping hub of the island with more than 400 outlets selling products ranging from silk and clothes to laptops and books. It’s quite possible to spend an entire day of shopping, catching the latest films, and dining at its many international restaurants.
Sunday Night Market
Sunday Night Market or Lard Yai Walking Street. Open only Sunday from 16.00 – 22.30 hrs. It is a market that shows the culture of Phuket town with the varieties of the local food, various handicrafts including various performances show on the street.
